Hi 7s- Welcome to our course blog! We will be using this blog as a forum for discussion about the five short stories we will read from the collection Are You Listening? Voices from the Middle East (published by The Outreach Center at the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University). Each week you will be posting a response to one of the short stories, and then, later in the week, you will also post a response to one of your classmates' postings. I look forward to reading your insights and ideas. Feel free to write in the first person, but make sure that you are also making specific references to the stories themselves. The first story we will read is called "Aren't There Any Donkeys in Your Country?" Told mainly through dialogue, it's an interesting and humorous story from Turkey about perceptions. What do you see?
