This story is much like the Assassination story because it involves a well educated young woman that has an arranged marriage and does not feel very comfortable about it. Fatiha is about to be married and is feeling very sad and anxious while in her wedding garb. She feels this way because she has never seen or met her future husband which is traditional. Around her she sees woman's lives ruined by their marriage, and people lucky and happy with their marriage, she doesn't know what type of guy she is to be wed to. I think the part about the her cousin dancing and making her feel better was important because it relieved her stress even if it was for only one moment but also gave her hope. (like Fiyero always says "Dancing through life! Down at the OzDust!") The main reason why she is stressed is all the women around her are happy and wondering why she isn't happy except for one understanding cousin.
